Immaculee was Bill and Rich's second guest of the day and her story is one that will stay with all of us for a long time. "Immaculée's life was transformed dramatically during the 1994 Rwandan genocide where she and seven other women spent 91 days huddled silently together in the cramped bathroom of a local pastor's house. Immaculée entered the bathroom a vibrant, 115-pound university student with a loving family—she emerged weighing just 65 pounds to find her entire family had been brutally murdered (with the exception of one brother who had been studying out of the country) . . . Immaculée found solace and peace in prayer and began to pray from the time she opened her eyes in the morning to the time she closed her eyes at night. Through prayer, she eventually found it possible, and in fact imperative, to forgive her tormentors and her family's murderers"

John Putbrese was the first guest of the day. He was on to discuss the Catholic Radio Conference that he just attended. He was excited to tell Bill and Rich the strong outlook for Catholic Radio. There are many stations that are looking to become Catholic Stations but are now waiting for their paperwork to go through. John shared his stories from this conference and Conferences from the past.

Kim Lehman joined Bill and Rich in the studio as the first guest of the day. Kim was talking about the post abortion counselor training event they will be holding. "Nearly 42 percent of women that are 45 years old have had an abortion, which is staggering. This leaves a great need for help and healing. Iowa Right to Life is hosting a training program for those who would like to facilitate a Bible study for post abortion women and men in their area. Lunch and materials are included in the fee. Maggie Dewitte, Catholic Charities, joined Rich in the studio as the second guest of the morning. Maggie also works as the adoption coordinator for Catholic Charities. Mary Beth Beacom and Mike Moody were in the studio with Bill and Rich as there second guests of the day. They were on speaking about the positives that home schooling has on children. And they dismissed some of the myths that are associated with home schooling ones child. They also talked about the Columbus Academy. "Columbus Academy is a Roman Catholic Home Schooling Support Group with the purpose of encouraging parents as the primary educators of their children. We seek to form friendships, share resources, and learn from one another while remaining faithful to the Magisterium and all the Truths of the Catholic Church."

Dr. Blessman left his medical practice in 2001 to work in this ministry full time. Every year over 100 Americans come over to work and volunteer with Blessman Ministries. Steve Cashman has participated and he shared his story with Bill and Rich.

- Rachel Mabery, Phoenix House, Was Bill and Rich's first guest of the day. The Phoenix House Domestic Violence Shelter & Sexual Abuse Program provides domestic violence and sexual abuse services to anyone faced with these issues through a 24-hour emergency shelter and crisis phone line, court advocacy, educational groups and through outreach to undeserved populations. The shelter provides safe, confidential living for up to eight families at a time. A large outdoor playground and an indoor playroom allow children a place where they can be kids, away from the fear of violence in their home. There are many events planned for October which is Domestic Violence Awareness month.

- Fr. David Muenchrath, Director of Vocations, was the second guest of the day. Fr. Muenchrath was discussing people who are looking at their vocations. He recommended Theology of the Body for people who are trying to discover what God has planned for them. Because people need to remember that it is God who directs us in our lives.

Over the years he also has served as a consultant to several church organizations from Vermont to Texas."
