Mike Rickord, President of Iowa Sports Connection, was Bill and Rich's local guest. Mike talked about his journey through life and how he discovered his calling in life. He wanted to do something that he could have a passion doing. His favorite part of the job is when he gets done with an interview and the coach says to him that they really appreciate what he is doing. He also wants parent to think before they yell at an official or a coach while attending their child's game. Coaches are not making a lot of money they do it because they love the game. They need to appreciate that their child is participating.

  1. Hi Bill and Rich,
Quick question for you. I saw in our bulletein yesterday that the parish in Altoona (SS. John & Paul?) is hosting a book discussion of "The Shack." Every Catholic commentary I've read on this book suggests or states openly that it is heretical and way outside the teaching of the Church on the Trinity and other central issues of Doctrine. Any thoughts?
