Brian Kissinger, Youth Minister in DC Area, was Bill and Sherill's First guest of the day. Brian discussed the importance of finding ways to get children involved in the Ministry. Brian just got back from a camping trip with the youth. They participated in many great activities such as high rope, riding a zip line and enjoying the pool. The week was set up so there was one adult to ever 5 kids. There was also 150 youth that attended. For individuals to return to camp next year they have to bring a friend who hasn't previously attended the event.
Chris Stefanick, author of Do I Have to Go?, was the second guest of the day. Chris' biography is an impressive one. "Chris has served at parishes in the East Los Angeles area and in Pennsylvania, and as the Diocesan Director of Youth Ministry for La Crosse, WI. He is currently the Director of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry for the Archdiocese of Denver." He worked on this book because he wanted the youth to see why they are participating in in the mass.
