Novos is a group geared toward reaching the 75% of young people ages 18-35 who no longer weekly mass. Novos is a great opportunity to gather with other young people who share the same convictions.

Bob Rice, Associate Professor of Catechetics and Youth Evangelist, who will be joining KWKY for the Faith Matters Conference spoke with Bill and Rich this morning. Right now, Bob is gearing up with his band to begin Summer Conference Season at Franciscan University of Steubenville.

As an Associate Professor of Catechetics, Bob shared with us what the study of Catechetics entails. The word Catechetics come from a Greek word meaning "Pass Down." At Franciscan University, the Catechetics department forms young people to pass on the faith. John Paul II went further saying that intimacy with Jesus is focused on the whole person. With the Catechetics department, young people are mobilized to serve the faith of young people.

He's excited to be joining us at the Faith Matters Conference, below is one of his favorite songs of his vast repetoire of compositions, it's called "I Shall Be Healed."
